Housekeeping/ Nutrition and Food Services

Job Duties
Housekeeping:
- 4.00 hour shifts days/evenings
- Shifts including weekends and statutory holidays
- Must be available evenings and alternating weekends.
- Break down cardboard boxes
- Transport full bins of Recyclables
- Sweep stairs top to bottom.
- Wipe down handrails with disinfectant.
- Mop stairs
- Other duties as required
Nutrition and Food Services:
- 4.00 hour shifts days/evenings
- Shifts including weekends and statutory holidays
- Remove kitchen garbage and recycling.
- Clean:
- Cafeteria tables and chairs.
- Serving areas.
- Microwaves (inspect and clean thoroughly).
- Wash pots
- Maintain cleanliness in the dish area
- Other duties as required
Essential Qualifications:
- Must provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella and varicella (chicken pox) and proof of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
- Must provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing within the previous 12 months
- Must obtain Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Must be 16 years of age
- Must be in full-time attendance at high school
- Understanding of, and attention to the use of good body mechanics
- Basic computer skills in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Outlook
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Self-directed
- Excellence in attendance
