Job Description

We are seeking an Operational Resilience Senior Analyst to join our team and help strengthen our ability to withstand severe but plausible disruptions. This role will support the implementation and evolution of the Operational Resilience Framework, ensuring critical business services remain available within defined impact tolerances. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify vulnerabilities, validate resilience strategies, and drive continuous improvement.

What you will do

Support Operational Resilience Framework

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Operational Resilience Framework
  • Ensure alignment with other standards (OSFI B-13, OSFI B-10, ISO 22301).

Scenario Testing & Exercising

  • Plan and execute scenario testing exercises to validate resilience strategies
  • Develop severe but plausible scenarios that challenge end-to-end resilience of critical services

Critical Business Services Analysis

  • Assist in identifying and mapping critical business services, dependencies, and impact tolerances

Project Management

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, track progress and report status to stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with senior leaders, risk owners, and service managers to embed resilience practices

Risk Identification & Reporting

  • Analyze test results, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation actions
  • Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards on resilience posture

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend enhancements to resilience strategies based on lessons learned and regulatory developments

Training & Awareness

  • Support development of training materials and awareness sessions for operational resilience principles

What you will bring

Experience

  • 5-7 years in Operational Resilience, Risk Management, or Business Continuity within a large organization
  • Experience in scenario testing, risk analysis, and resilience planning

Education & Accreditation

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementor, or other OR-specific credentials).

Skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex scenarios
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging senior executives
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, timelines, and deliverables end-to-end

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (OSFI E-21, OSFI B-13, OSFI B-10) and industry standards
  • Understanding of critical business services, impact tolerances, and resilience metrics
  • Knowledge of risk management tools (Fusion RM, MetricStream, etc.)

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London, Toronto and Winnipeg

The base salary for this position is between $80,400 - $130,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
