Window Blinds Installer - 40 Hours (Monday-Friday)

To be successful as a Window Blind Installer you are responsible for driving and overall upkeep of the company vehicle. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and within a supportive, collaborative team environment, reliable and detail-oriented. Display the ability to interact with team members daily. Demonstrate safe and proper installations at all times. Maintain a friendly, courteous manner and have excellent customer service skills.

Window Blinds Installer Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean workstation (Company work vehicle) and report any service concerns, drive independently and safely to scheduled commercial installations daily
- Safely prep, load, unload and transport product for daily delivery and complete install. Clean up each job-site in a timely manner.
- Follow installation guidelines and specifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Inspect all installations when complete and identify issues, problem solve and fix on site or communicate with the install lead for a solution
- Complete installation paperwork daily which includes updating into our data system and follow company procedures
- Be accessible through communication devices during business hours at all times
- Help our blind production team when required in inventory, assembly and receiving.
- Work on continuous projects in house as required
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned

- Strong customer service orientation
- Min. 1yr. blind installation experience or carpentry, construction or skilled trades is beneficial however training would be given if required
- Ability to effectively adapt to change
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Basic Computer and software skills; scanning, printing, uploading to daily production table (Excel) knowledge
- Ability to use and maintain hand tools, measuring tapes, power tools and work on ladders in a safe manner
- Able to work as part of a team and independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift and carry materials up to 50lbs (23 kg)
- Perform repetitive tasks using hands and arms
- Ability to bend, kneel, twist, reach and work in commercial construction environments
- Basic math skills
