OneChart Patient Scheduling

The ITS Patient Scheduling team is hiring a temporary full-time Support Analyst to support the teams involvement in the OneChart Phase II project. The successful candidate will be involved in supporting the day-to-day workload including the efficient design, coding, testing, and maintenance of the less complex aspects of clinical systems/programs to satisfy clinical users and systems requirements, escalating to senior position as required (Business Systems Analyst).  Please note that this is a temporary full-time position funded until December 31, 2025.

Other responsibilities include ensuring data integrity through auditing, supporting code upgrades, and assisting with various projects. As part of this dynamic team, the successful candidate will be highly organized with great attention to detail and thrive in this fast-paced, ever-changing work environment. Knowledge and experience with the Patient Scheduling application would be beneficial.

Temporary Full-Time

Rate of Pay:                 $34.65 - $43.31 per hour

Hours of Work:             37.5 hours per week 

Duration:                      up to December 31, 2025

Qualifications

  • Two (2) year Community College Diploma in Clinical focus designation (Health Information Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, Radiology, Laboratory) or focus relevant to the supported application or equivalent experience as acceptable by hospital
  • Registration/licensing, where regulatory body exists
  • Three (3) years recent and related work experience in Information Technology or a Business Support Services field
  • Experience with established applicable clinical and clerical processes, nomenclature and hospital environment
  • Demonstrated ability to assimilate a large quantity of diverse information and apply analytical skills to identify, understand and problem solve in a technology-based environment
  • Knowledge of and ability to use, troubleshoot and test a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, electronic health applications) as relevant to the role
  • Excellent commitment to customer service
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Recent and relevant experience with Oracle Health Millennium. Experience with Patient Scheduling considered an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s vision, purpose and values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements

Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:
