As a key member of the Communication and Public Affairs team at St. Joseph's Health Care London, the Digital Content Creator brings dynamic ideas and creative thinking to support strategic projects within our dynamic and multi-faceted organization.

From compelling visual storytelling through photography and videography to engaging still and animated graphics that bring data to life, the successful candidate will have a passion for identifying and developing creative content that captures the attention of our audiences. The Digital Content Creator will be responsible for enhancing the experience of our patient, residents, staff and physicians through print and digital graphic design, photography and videography.

With an ability to work independently and build strong professional relationships with clients across the organization, the Digital Content Creator thrives in a collaborative environment focused on innovative, creative and integrated storytelling across a multitude of communication platforms.

The Communication and Public Affairs team operates within a flexible work environment, with a combination of in-office and remote work days.


Essential Qualifications

  • College Diploma in a related field (Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Communications, Interactive Media)
  • Proficiency in videography, photography; print and digital graphic design; audio, digital, graphic and photo editing
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Advanced computer skills with web-based content management systems, Microsoft Office, design and video editing software, file management and transfer
  • Proficiency (photography and videography) with Digital Single-Lens Reflex (DSLR) and/or mirrorless cameras, as well as with studio lighting setups
  • Expert knowledge of mobile photography and videography, with ability to shoot high quality videos and photos with smart phone/hand held device
  • Experience developing digital graphic elements, including infographics and basic animations
  • Strong asset management skills including ability to tag, reference, organize and archive assets
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage projects from concept to completion
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to work under tight timelines
  • Minimum three years related experience required
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a health care setting preferred
  • Registered Graphic Designer (RGD) an asset
  • Proficiency in French would be an asset
Teaching and Research
  • St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St. Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
Immunization Requirements
  • Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (primary series, boosters and/or XBB) OR one dose of XBB vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
