Position Available: Full Time Operational/Packaging Pharmacist

Job Summary:
As a Full Time Operational/Packaging Pharmacist at Yurek Pharmacy & Home HealthCare, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of our patients' medications. Reporting to the Director, Pharmacy Operations, you will supervise Dispensary Assistants and Registered Pharmacy Technicians to facilitate the efficient and accurate distribution of our products and services. With your professional expertise, experience, and compassionate demeanor, you will bring unparalleled value to our team and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This role primarily occurs in a Packaging Dispensary setting, with Monday to Friday, day shift hours. Occasional weekend and evening coverage may be required. The position involves a combination of standing/walking, lifting, desk work, and interacting with various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer care to clients in homes, retirement communities, and other serviced locations
- Liaise between retail pharmacy operations and adherence packaging operations
- Participate in quality procedures according to ISO guidelines and company policies
- Maintain accurate client health records and conduct medication regimen reviews
- Assist in pharmacy inventory management and staff training
- Stay current with pharmaceutical and medical knowledge through continuing education
- Embrace the full scope of pharmacist responsibilities, including extended services like vaccinations and minor ailments prescribing clinics
- Supervise and educate students, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and patient safety
- Support Dispensary Assistants and Registered Pharmacy Technicians in troubleshooting challenges with third-party payors
- Maintain confidentiality and protect personal and organizational information
- Current Licensed Pharmacist (Part A) in good standing in the Province of Ontario
- Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C, and Injection Certified
- Experience with KROLL Pharmacy software preferred
- Supervisory experience and familiarity with diverse institutions desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete daily travel and possess a valid Driver's License in Ontario
- Access to a reliable vehicle
