Virtual Care

 

The Virtual Care Support Analyst - Clinical is a jointly accountable role to LHSC and St. Joseph's under the Virtual Care Program team. The Support Analyst - Clinical plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient implementation and operation of our virtual care technologies, working closely under the guidance of the Virtual Care Specialist and Change Management Consultants. As the primary point of contact for clinical end-users of virtual care technology, the Support Analyst - Clinical promptly addresses issues, conducts workflow analyses and investigates solutions, escalating to the Virtual Care Specialist and Change Management Consultant as needed. With experience, the Virtual Care Support Analyst - Clinical may take on lead responsibilities for smaller projects and represent the Virtual Care Program team in larger, more complex initiatives as directed by the team leads. Their expertise and dedication contribute significantly to the reliability and effectiveness of our virtual care technologies.

 

What we offer:

 

Status: Temporary Full-Time 

Rate of Pay: $36.85 per hour - $46.06 per hour

Duration: Until September 2027

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications

 
  • Two (2) year College Diploma in Computer Science or health-related field required 
  • University Degree preferred 
  • PMP Certification, and/or registration/licensing where regulatory body exists preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years recent and related work experience required
  • Experience in health care (clinical or clerical/administrative)
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze a large quantity of diverse information
  • Understanding technology and how it can be applied in a healthcare environment
  • Proficient at time management and work under pressure
  • Proficient in corporate computer applications (MS Office)
  • Experience with Cerner Millennium or other clinical applications as applicable to the role an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values 
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
