Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Key responsibilities include: ensuring all procedures are performed according to established protocols and standards of practice and in a safe and compliant manner according to CNSC regulations; participating in various training programs and research studies; and contributing to an environment which supports clinical excellence and continuous learning. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized Nuclear Medicine program
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario with a specialty in Nuclear Medicine
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
  • Capable of performing the full spectrum of Nuclear Medicine procedures requiring independent judgement with skill, ingenuity, and initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registration with CAMRT
  • Proficiency in French would be an asset
Teaching and Research
  • St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St. Joseph's you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
Immunization Requirements
  • Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (primary series, boosters and/or XBB) OR one dose of XBB vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
