Job Summary:

As a Sanitation Technician reporting to the Production Supervisor(s), your role is vital in keeping our production equipment and spaces in top-notch condition. You'll focus on maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance in the dedicated sanitation area. This extends to supporting production by handling tasks like operating the box erector, assisting in changeover duties, and contributing to overall facility housekeeping.

Key Job Duties:

  • Follow SOPs for cleaning tools, equipment, and items.
  • Collaborate with production to prioritize cleaning tasks for timely startups.
  • Replenish materials and supplies as needed.
  • Conduct weekly inventory assessments, reporting low stock for prompt reorder.
  • Keep the workplace clean through general housekeeping.
  • Handle chemicals, supplies, and PPE safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate sanitation records in line with SOPs and Health Canada regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sanitation experience is a plus.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of health and safety best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication with coworkers and management.
