Adult Inpatient Mental Health
The Adult Inpatient Mental Health program is currently seeking a Registered Behaviour Analyst to support patients with complex mental health needs. In this role, the Behaviour Analyst conducts direct observation, functional assessments, and skill-acquisition assessments to identify factors contributing to behaviours. The Behaviour Analyst designs, implements, delivers, and evaluates interventions grounded in behavioural principles to achieve meaningful improvements for patients. As a member of an interprofessional health care team, the Behaviour Analyst supports rapid and safe behaviour stabilization and promotes generalizable skill development to support successful discharge to home or the community.
What we offer:
Rate of Pay: $49.27 per hour - $61.59 per hour
Status: Temporary Full-time
Duration: 12 months
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Masters Degree in Psychology, Behaviour Analysis, or a related field
- Registration as a Behaviour Analyst with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
- Minimum one (1) years recent, related job experience
- Experience providing behaviour assessments
- Experience developing behaviour-change procedures
- Knowledge of selection and implementation of behavioural interventions
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
