The Team Assistant is responsible for providing team office administrative support, supporting project delivery, and project management of low to medium complexity projects from design and implementation through to evaluation and close-out, facilitate project and department and program-level reporting, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure outcomes are successfully achieved.

 

Temporary Full-Time

 

Rate of Pay:      $27.54 per hour - $34.42 per hour

 

Hours of Work:  37.5 hours per week

 

Duration:         up to November 2026 

 

Qualifications

 
  • Successful completion of 2-year Community College Diploma in Office Administration, Business or as acceptable by the Hospital
  • Minimum one to three years of office administration experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient problem solving and decision-making skills within the parameters of the role
  • Flexible and adaptable within a changing environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft 365  
  • Self-directed with ability to work independently using above average levels of initiative and discretion
  • Experience with resource planning, measurement, reporting and evaluation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and outside agencies
  • High level of initiative and self-direction required
  • Flexibility/adaptability to changing priorities, procedures and method
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Vision, Purpose, and Values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
